Susie & Jay are former children's performers. Traveling and performing silly stories & magic shows together as Fooltales for 15 years, it has always been their dream to settle down and open up a shop where people can gather, relax, enjoy a magic show or do a little craft, as well as invite others to share their artistic skills. And what better way to do this but in a tea shoppe!

Our Story
Susie is a former children's librarian and professional children's storyteller, known as Susie Magoozy. She spent many years traveling to schools, daycares, libraries and events performing. When she wasn't performing, she was doing storytimes and planning programs at the library. And in her downtime, she was involved in all aspects of community theater. Oh, and she LOVES COFFEE & FAIRY TALES!
Jay
Our Mission
Our Mission
Jay was and still is a children's silly magician, Tom Foolery! He has spent most of his life being silly and performing for schools, libraries & special events. He is also an historic tour guide for the Rebecca Nurse Homestead and while not perfecting magic tricks, he's working on history lectures. Oh, and he LOVES TEA & STAR WARS!

Our Mission here at Hatter's Tea Shoppe is to bring, not only quality teas & coffees to our guests, but that little something extra, as well. We want that tea party to be special, or the birthday to be magical. We also want to provide quality arts & entertainment, events & workshops and make a memorable experience for our guests, while enjoying their tea or coffee.
